Industry Insights July 2023, Issue 30

To All AISF Members and Industry Stakeholders,

Welcome to the New Financial Year.

We are actively progressing the review and update of the audit and accreditation programmes for powder coating and electroplating standards with Standards Australia.

Our online training modules are in full swing and last week we completed a 2 hour online Working with Cyanide course with more modules following. Our online 6 week Intro to Electroplating module commenced this month and was fully sold out.
On September 7 in Brisbane we are holding a Part 1 – The 10 Principles Professional Powder, this is a 1 day beginners training session to learn the basics and understanding of powder coating techniques. We are working towards the development of a Chemical Handling training course, specific to our industries. Chemical handling is universal across all sectors of our membership base, both applicators and chemical manufacturers, so we feel this training would benefit many of our members.

The AISF has appointed a new Administration Membership Officer with the departure of Michelle Bracken and we welcome Helen Moss to the team as our Members primary contact.

Helen commenced in June and is undergoing her induction into the various industries the AISF covers, the services we provide our members and the diverse group of stakeholders we interact with. Bringing forth an impressive background serving as a source of critical support for management leaders in media and financial institution industries that will help the promotion and administration of AISF.

We welcomes Helen into the AISF family. Helen’s contact details are below.

We thank you as always for your continued support of our industry body and look forward to communicating more updates in relation to training and accreditation in due course.
